The Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney

THE CHALLENGE:​

The Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney's Dispute Resolution Program desired a high-level & engaging training session on Professional Branding and Leadership Development for their mediators that would help them enhance their professional brands, identify the purpose of their voices and expand their career outlook.

​

THE SOLUTION:

MOMENTS OF FOCUS LLC was selected to provide our signature program, Discover the Brand of You TM. We designed a tailored version to suit their exact needs and hosted an on-site Professional Branding and Leadership Development Training session for their mediators which included business professionals, police officers and community members. ​

​

THE RESULT:​

We received great evaluations for our program development and execution of the session. Both the Program Director and mediators especially noted the instant growth that this program created.

NFL Players Association 

​

THE CHALLENGE: ​ 

The NFLPA was looking for a Brand & Leadership Development expert and speaker for their Annual National Football League Players Association's Summer Getaway event.  They were seeking a thought leader who could provide strategies, tips and tools in a session on "Launching Your Brand on Social Media" to help their members elevate & maximize their use of social media in an effort to enhance their professional brands and expand their career.

 

THE SOLUTION: 

MOMENTS OF FOCUS’ CEO was selected as the expert to provide the Branding and Leadership Development Learning Lab “Launching Your Brand on Social Media.” This lab demonstrated the impact that brand development and delivery have on players success in the market and how social media can boost a brand or destroy it.

THE RESULT: ​ 

Great reviews were received by both players and the organization’s planning member.  The players raved about the coaching they received on how to elevate their brand names by strategically positioning themselves for their desired marketplace, preparing for both emerging opportunities and social media pitfalls, managing their social media presence, identifying their specific offer and clarifying their specific audience.

Gateway Los Angeles Airport Business District​

THE CHALLENGE:​

Gateway Los Angeles Airport Business District was looking to provide a staff development training session that would help their staff members build their confidence in connecting with their stakeholders as well as business people and travelers visiting Los Angeles. They were also looking for a program to help their staff identify and connect their personal brand with Gateway to LA's mission.

MOMENTS OF FOCUS LLC was selected to provide our signature program, Discover the Brand of You .  We designed a tailored program to meet their specific needs.

We received a great recommendation for the program development and execution of the training session by both the Executive Director and the staff members.

THE CHALLENGE:​

The California/Nevada American Water Works Association-Leadership Development Technical Program Committee was looking for a dynamic and passionate, motivational presentation on Professional Branding. They needed a speaker and session that could connect with a diverse audience and achieve high levels of interaction. They wanted their audience to receive career advice that would help them better assess what they wanted out of their careers, evaluate potential opportunities & more effectively represent themselves so that they could find greater success and enjoy an increased level of job satisfaction.

THE SOLUTION:​

MOMENTS OF FOCUS LLC was selected to provide a tailored presentation from our signature Discover the Brand of You training program.  We incorporated all of their specific needs into the presentation for overall success.

THE RESULT:​

The Discover the Brand of You session was said to be the most well received presentation of its day of the conference; perfectly and exactly what the Engineering Services Unit Manager who brought us on to participate had hoped for. â€‹

California State Board of Equalization

 

 

THE CHALLENGE:

​California State Board of Equalization was seeking powerful, engaging and inspirational speakers to provide high-level advice & consulting to business leaders attending their Connecting Women to Power Business Conference. 

​

THE SOLUTION:

​MOMENTS OF FOCUS' CEO BeNeca Griffin was selected and provided tips, tools, leadership strategies and on the spot consulting services for the businesswomen in attendance.

THE RESULT:

​We received great reviews from many attendees reflecting upon how helpful the presentation was as well as from the inviting Board Member.

THE CHALLENGE: ​

The CEO and Founder of Ximen Media Group was looking for a firm and/or Executive Advisor with experience in entertainment, brand development, operations, production and strategic development to work with him on developing his company from the ground up and elevating his executive brand. 

 

THE SOLUTION:

MOMENTS OF FOCUS LLC was selected to provide Executive Advisory services as it pertained to the set up and development of the company, projects and executive brand development services for the CEO and Founder.

 

THE RESULT:

Over the years, the one-on-one consultant sessions have helped Ximen Media Group, LLC grow from conception to a full service, high quality, professional branded, creative Media Production Company.

California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce

​

THE CHALLENGE: ​

The California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce was seeking a highly motivating & engaging expert in Branding and Leadership Development for their 40th Annual Convention who could provide strategies, tips & tools for their business members and a Professional Brand Development training for the young professionals in their Creating A Path for Success program.  The CAPS members were preparing to attend the convention in hopes of advancing their knowledge and network while successfully engaging with over 700 business, civic and community leaders.  They were also looking to enhance their presentation skills for a presentation they were providing for the attendees and sponsors.

 

THE SOLUTION:

MOMENTS OF FOCUS' CEO was selected as a speaker for their "Rebooting Your Brand" session and to provide a tailored program on how to Create Path to Success at the 40th Annual CHCC Statewide Convention for the CAPS members.

 

THE RESULT:

Great feedback was provided by both the business members and the CHCC executives during the session on "Rebooting Your Brand."  The CAPS students raved about the confidence the training session provided and the difference it made in the success of their network building and presentation.

Foothill Municipal Water District

 

THE CHALLENGE:​

Foothill Municipal Water District wanted to create a more productive and cohesive work environment.   The District wanted someone that could meet individually with employees and help them create their own brand as it related to Foothill.  It wanted to transform the employee’ visions, values, patterns of thought and execution through education.

​

THE SOLUTION:​

Moments of Focus was selected to provide a culture management road-map, strategic planning expertise, and one-on-one coaching sessions with each employee so they could develop their own brand.  

​

THE RESULT:​

The one-on-one coaching sessions assisted each employee identify the partnership they had with the District and how the impact of their professional and communication style had on their own brand.  This further helped them identify their own goals and action plan to achieve those goals.​​

UCSD, Center for Executive Development

 

THE CHALLENGE:​

The Center for Executive Development at the Rady School of Management, UCSD was looking for a corporate training expert specifically skilled, knowledgeable and qualified to work with business executives and management level employees in various industries and areas of leadership development. 

​

THE SOLUTION:​

MOMENTS OF FOCUS' CEO was selected to partner with the Center of Executive Development as an instructor to provide Professional Branding and Leadership Development training sessions.

​

THE RESULT:

​Our partnership lead to training being provided to all of the Center for Executive Development's principle sites including Northrop Grumman, The Boeing Company, Metropolitan Water District & So. Cal Gas.

LAX Los Angeles World Airports

 

 

THE CHALLENGE:

​Los Angeles World Airports was seeking a high-level corporate training and leadership development partner that would take their interns beyond the normal level of training and into a zone of Professional Branding and Leadership Development. LAWA's internship program is a pipeline program that not only develops multiple levels of up and coming staff for the airport but also for the City of Los Angeles.

​

THE SOLUTION:

​MOMENTS OF FOCUS LLC was selected to partner its signature training program, Intern to 

VP® with Los Angeles World Airports' internship program. 

​

THE RESULT:

Over the years we have received great evaluations from both the Internship Coordinator and program participants.  Participants have become business savvy, created and developed their personal and professional brands, become greater assets to their teams, developed more impactful communications and professional road maps.

YES2JOBS

 

THE CHALLENGE: ​  

Yes2Jobs - an employment development program that introduces minority and other underrepresented populations to engaging career opportunities in high paying positions in entertainment & media, medical & bio tech and finance and technology - was looking for a professional development training program to become their signature training tool. 

 

THE SOLUTION:  

MOMENTS OF FOCUS LLC was selected to provide our signature program, Intern to VP ®. We designed a tailored version of the Intern to VP ® program to suit their exact needs and hosted a 5-day virtual training session for their participant via Zoom. We also provided one-on-one professional coaching sessions for each participant.  

 

THE RESULT: ​  

We received great evaluations for our program development and its execution. The Board of Directors, Executive Director and participants gave great reviews. As a result, Moments of Focus was asked by the Board of Directors to serve as their signature Professional Branding and Leadership Development training arm.

THE CHALLENGE:

​The Loyola Marymount University Family of Schools was looking to launch their BRASS Leadership Academy and seeking a corporate level training program to partner with in order to provide high-level business leadership development training to their students.

​

THE SOLUTION:

​MOMENTS OF FOCUS was selected to partner our signature Intern to VP ® Professional Branding and Leadership Development program with the LMU Family of Schools BRASS Leadership Academy.

​

THE RESULT:

​The partnership was deemed a success by the Program Director and helped launch the academy.  The students worked towards developing their brands, created action plans for success, developed leadership skills & improved their practical understanding of professionalism.

THE CHALLENGE:

​The Los Angeles Unified School District's Young Men's and Women's Conference Director was looking for a Community Partner to serve as an asset as both a committee member and speaker who could add production value to the conference and provide high level workshops on Professional Branding and Leadership Development and Entrepreneurship.

​

THE SOLUTION:

​MOMENTS OF FOCUS LLC CEO was selected to come on board as a Community Partner serving as a committee member and speaker.

​

THE RESULT:

​Over the years we have worked together to produce successful conferences that serve over 300 students annually.

Harvard-Westlake School

THE CHALLENGE:

​Harvard-Westlake School was looking to collaborate with a program that would provide a larger scale, sustainable solution for their HW Works' (professional networking community) Collaborative Mentorship Program that focused around personal branding and professional leadership development. Their Collaborative Mentorship Program strengthens their school community through career exploration by providing industry panels, shadow opportunities, and summer internships with parents and alumni of the school to the students. They were seeking age and experience appropriate professional guidance for their students.

THE SOLUTION:

​​MOMENTS OF FOCUS was selected to partner our signature Intern to VP ® Youth in Business Conference with their HW Works program.

​

THE RESULT:

​The partnership was deemed a success by both the Program Director and participating students.  The students worked towards developing their brands, created action plans for success, developed leadership skills & improved their practical understanding of professionalism. They received on-the-spot professional coaching that helped them launch their plans forward.
